Every year, BC Day, celebrated on the first Monday of August, is a wonderful opportunity for families and childcare centres to celebrate the beauty, culture, and diversity of British Columbia.

For young children, learning about the world around them doesn't have to happen in a classroom—it can happen through outdoor adventures, creative activities, storytelling, and play. Whether you're an educator planning classroom activities or a parent looking for weekend inspiration, here are some fun and meaningful ways to help preschoolers discover what makes British Columbia so special.
